Buo Ya was founded in 1986 in Luye, Taitung. From growing tea to making red oolong and preparing tea gifts, our work starts here. Explore the place, people and craft behind our teas.

Our tea-making journey

Buo Ya began making red oolong as this Taiwanese tea was being developed. The team learned the process, adjusted its methods and worked to make the tea consistently.

Today, the next generation continues the work in Luye.
